Patti has been a Certified Educational Planner since 1998.
She has a straightforward and empathic approach to assisting clients and families. As a behavioral health nurse and a mother of four grown children who had their own unique learning styles and challenges, she understands the pain parents go through trying to find the right resources. She also knows the joy of relief when the connection to the school or program that “gets my child” is made.
Patti is thorough.
She puts the time in, meeting with the family and talking to all the professionals working with the child or young adult. She develops a comprehensive picture of the client as well as an understanding of the family. The plan she creates includes the supports needed and the type of environment in which the student or young adult with thrive.
Patti spent 5 years visiting schools and programs before opening her practice. Since then she has visited over 1600 schools and programs. Patti has spent the last 20+ years developing relationships and keeping abreast of the ever-changing staff and student dynamics. This thoroughness allows her to confidently connect the student or young adult with the school or program that has the supports and environment he or she needs to reach his or her potential.
