Educational and Therapeutic Placement Specialist
Jacy has been an integral member of the Life Compass Partners team for over a decade. She is a behavioral health nurse with over 30 years of experience working with children and adolescents. She has developed her expertise as a placement specialist working besides Patti, visiting schools and programs, and remaining current on psychological, emotional, behavioral, medical, and educational trends.
Jacy is particularly gifted in helping students and families understand the reasons behind their challenges and how specific interventions will help. Advocating for our clients is Jacy’s passion, beginning with the evaluation process and resulting in identifying and implementing the right course to long-term success. Jacy is a staple of Life Compass Partners and is well known to and highly regarded by the schools and programs with whom we work.
Jacy was previously the Clinical Nurse Manager at Children’s National Medical Center Psychiatric Day Treatment Center for Children and Adolescents. Her extensive clinical experience gives her a unique perspective and understanding of the challenges our students, young adults, and families face.
